Who we are
Suwe is made by Dotng Games, a brand of Dotng Company Limited. We are responsible for the information described here. Contact us at support@dotnggames.com. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
What we collect
The first time Suwe is opened, before anything can be played, we ask once for:
- a name or nickname, and a date of birth (both required);
- gender and state, only if you choose to give them;
- a record of the agreement to this policy (yours, or your parent's if you are under 18).
This profile stays on your phone. We also keep your characters, settings and game progress on your phone. In WiFi play, your character's name and look are shared only with the other phones in the same game.
When online play opens, the profile is copied to our servers so your game can carry on there. We will then also keep your game records, friends and rubber rings (the in-game currency). We will update this policy before that happens.
Purchases and ads
- Purchases are handled by Google Play. We receive a receipt to confirm the purchase; we never see your card or bank details.
- Ads, where shown, are served by Google AdMob and set to be suitable for children. Players under 18 never see personalised ads. Google may use device information to deliver and measure ads, under Google's own privacy policy.

We do not sell your information. Advertisers and sponsors only ever see totals, never one player's details.
Children
- Suwe is for players aged 10 and over.
- If a player is under 18, the phone is handed to a parent or guardian, who reads what we keep, agrees, and passes a short check that they are an adult. We do not ask for a parent's phone number.
- Players under 18 cannot type free chat messages and never see personalised ads.
- A parent can ask us to see, correct or delete their child's information at any time by writing to support@dotnggames.com.
Who we share it with
- Companies that run parts of Suwe for us under contract: our database host (Supabase), Google Play for purchases, and Google AdMob for ads.
- Authorities, only when the law requires it or a child is at risk.
Our servers may be outside Nigeria. We only transfer information where the Nigeria Data Protection Act allows it.
How long we keep it
Information on your phone stays until you delete the app or clear its data. Information on our servers stays while your account exists and is deleted within 30 days of a deletion request, except records we must keep by law.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your information, withdraw consent, or object to how we use it. Write to support@dotnggames.com. We aim to reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at ndpc.gov.ng.
Changes
We will show a notice in the app before any important change takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
